Training with friends and family can provide you with the motivational encouragement you need to stick with your training program and reach your fitness goals.
Do you know of someone close to you who has the same or similar training and fitness objectives as yourself. Then why not have your personal training session with them? There are a range of reasons why training with a partner or in a small group is better than going it alone.
Some of the benefits of small group or partner training over one-to-one training include:

If you know someone of a similar ability level and/or a friend or relative who has the same fitness goals as you then why not tell them about this great opportunity. Husbands and wives, mother and daughter, father and son or maybe yourself and a group of friends.
Small group training only really works well when participants share similar fitness training goals. For example, if we take a marathon runner and an Olympic weight lifter - one wants to work on runnign endurance and the other wants to be able to lift as much weight as possible. The two goals are mirror opposites and so the training programs will be vastly different. In this case the two clients would require one-to-one training sessions in order to get the maximum benefits from their training (remember, personal training is all about getting you the results you want).
